Two-way Messaging
Many devices that the portal supports are capable of sending and receiving messages over the air. For any of these connected devices, users will be able to engage with operators in the field using them with two-way messaging services. All Messages transacted between the portal and the devices are stored in the Chats tab in the Asset’s Details Panel. Users can see these Chats and review messaging history at any time. For many satellite subscribers, this feature represents an indescribably important cost saving measure, as sending text messages over the air is much less expensive than initiating a call for the same communication purposes.
